16 and getting a Z? Instead, who had the worst first car?

Mine was a 1999 Hyundai Sonata GLS V6. It was a good first beater car and served its purpose as such. 3 car accidents later it was still in good enough shape to get a $3000 trade-in for a Tiburon.

1997 Ford Taurus GL, black. My dad originally got it salvage. We rebuilt it and my brother drove it for a while. He had a minor accident and we repaired it again. Last year, I was driving the car when a b!tch in an Astro Van comes flying up a hill doing 50, blows the red light and hits me.
And then we repaired it...
But I had another unfortunate accident that crippled it for good.
People say that the Taurus was ****, but it was a really good car for me. I hate to say it, but it was fun to drive too.
Now I have an 2002 Ranger Extend-a-Cab w/ the styleside bed. I'm 19, and the truck was yep...salvage.

I got my first car at 17 in 1990. It was a 85' Black Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. All things considered it was a great first car. Power everything, quick enough to get out off it's own way, but not fast enough to get me into too much trouble.

1982 Volvo 240 Turbo. Black/gold two tone paint w/ gold wheels. Bought it from an 82 year old man, who had bought it like that, and decided after 20 years, it was time for a new car. Now a 2003 supercharged rsx-s, 2008 350z in august.

I'm about to be 24. I had a handed down 1993 Mercury Sable. It had the 3.8liter V6 witch was the bigger one. Black on Black leather. Cd player worked half the time. Went through 2 motors, 3 trannys and 1 window would not roll down. The wheels were faded. At first I hated that car then I loved it. I wish I still had it. The memorys in that car. Lots of good times with friends. Oh ya the paint was starting fade.

My first vehicle was a 86' Nissan pickup truck, small. It was given to me and didn't even run when I got it. I had to buy a new carb, which was like $450. It was a Holly 2-barrel, stock on a 4 cyl., lol. I abused the hell out of it, and it took a good beating. It was leaking a quart of oil a day when I sold it for $700.
Anyway, all my cars after that were all Chevrolet, mostly Camaros. Now I'm back to Nissan again, only for a Z this time. I've had 2 07' in the last year.

Ah, so long ago... 1990, got a Fiat 500 that I owned for all of 20 minutes, till I drove off and the rear right wheel decided to go another direction!
Fast forward to 1997, my second car was a 1984 Caprice Classic, $500. It did the job.

I feel old reading some of these. I am 33 now, but when I was 16 I had a 1979 VW rabbit. Beige 4spd manual, ugly as hell but I loved it. Learned how to drive stick on it and have fond back seat memories.

In 95 I bought from the neighbor an 84' Jeep Cheeroke. It ran but after i changed out the sludge called oil, it wouldnt run. I rebuilt the rebuilt. It backfired all the time. It was a carbed 4 cyl. that got me about 10mpg. It would run out of gas at half a tank. Top speed down hill was 60, i think the speedo didnt work. Half the interior was missing. The back seat was still there thankfully... I paid 500 bucks and drove it for less time than i actually owned it bc i think every part under the hood broke at least once while i had it for that year and a half..lol I miss the Jeep part but not that one..

I might have one of the worst one. It was a 85 Chevy Cavailer. The headliner inside the car was torn. The lock of the trunk was broken, I have to use a screwdriver to turn it in order to open the trunk.
Someone tag "**** you" on my passenger side door. The passenger side was messed up due to an accident. The front bumper was cracked and I had to use a wire hanger to tide it down to the front grill. I think my car would've made it in the show "Pimp My Ride" if they have that show back then.
