I was wondering if anyone got Lo-Jack installed in their 350Z? And how much did you pay for it?
Also, did the install take long?

I got quoted for $700. Is that a good price?

 

Personally I did NOT get Lo-Jack. I checked with my insurance company and they offered NO Discounts for it.

(Maybe if I had a spare $700.00 it would be a nice piece of mind, but I went with a Borla instead )

Think long and hard about installing lo-jack. Do you really want your car back after some kid stole it and drove around beating on it? Insurance isn't going to reimburse you for the wear and tear that any self respecting thief is going to inflict on your car in the unfortunate circumstance it gets stolen and the lo-jack is used.

 

I'll have to ask my insurance company what are the benefits of being able to retrieve a stolen vehicle and what can be reimbursed upon its return. I would think it would provide some discount, but again, I'll have to ask.
