How can you not list in your sale that it's in horrible condition? Simply stating you will be polishing it up if it sells doesn't really help. I hope you aren't one of those people who think "what you can't see when installed won't hurt you" type of people. Many people buy the exhaust and makes sure it's in perfect condition. The guy drove up just to pick it up and then you say it's his fault for not looking at it? Cmon, that's a bit messed up on your part. I would of stated it in my sale..hell, i would make sure the person knows before coming to pick it up to make sure he wants and not waste his time nor gas. I hope you sold it to him for 3-400 dollars in that condition. I , myself, wouldn't even put that on my car.

lol if i would of had this item shipped i would of been really angry. but he does not want to do the right thing and refund my money. for 2 reasons, #1 he already spent it #2 if he gets this exhauts back he cannot sell it without fixing all the problems.

I'm honestly angry for you. I don't know what i would do. I would be pissed. You spent that much gas, paid 50 bucks to install it, and paid for that POS exhaust. Good luck trying to sell it. You will be lucky to make half of what you made back. Taking off and putting on an exhaust on the Z takes 30 minutes on freaking jack stands. Especially if it wasn't your first exhaust.

Like i said, i didnt know the scratches were there, as i just drove my car to my buddy's shop, had him take mine off and put my new one on. I had no time to look at it or even take it off being he wanted to come the day after i put it up for sale to buy it. If he wanted to wait a week i would have made sure the exhaust was in better condition when i gave it to him, but the condition it's in i was NOT aware of, which even still to me, looks like some scratches and it needs a small weld job. Not exactly costly. I am not an ******* or dishonest, if kramy had called me from the shop while i was at work and told me he didnt want the exhuast i would have given him his money back and that would have been that. Kramy had every chance to look at it before he left. $700 is not a big deal to me, but now it's principle. He sent me a text saying he wasn't satisfied and we need to "work something out, call me" so i told him i get off at 11 tonight, and i will. instead he goes and negative iTrader's me and now is going around with this blaspheme.

If a product I sell to someone is DOA or doesnt work correctly, I give them their money back. It's cut and dry business ethics. As the seller, it was your responsibility to inspect the merchandise before putting it up for sale that the item was worthy of the price you asked and the way it was described.

Noted. But as previously stated, the only time that exhaust has ever been off my car was when it was taken off for Kramy. I never saw it. If i were to ship it to someone or someone had asked for pictures before buying i would have ablidged and let them know the condition. Kramy came the day after i put it up for sale and took it from me, he urged that wens was his only day off and he wanted to come pick it up then, i even said a later date would be better due to me having work and it would be hard to work out. But if he came early i could make it happen. I'm not going to say i have no fault here because in the same aspect i too should have looked at it. The way the transaction was made makes me look dishonest and as if he got ripped, when in reality this is not the case.

ok then refund my money and i will pay the shipping back. which is gonna cost about 100+ bucks. but as with the gas i spent and the 50 bucks i paid for it being put on with chicken wire. you can then have it fixed and resell it. i paid for a so called good exhaust like i said i should not have to pay to have an exhaust fixed i paid 700 bucks for. if your being honest as you claim it should not be a problem now should it.
like i said before, i think this was handled horribly by each party, but at this point I think its the sellers responsibility to refund the money, especially if the buyer is willing to ship for you
