PAinting brembos???
hey guys, i was wondering if i could re-paint the strock track brembos i bought. i like the bronze color, but i really want them to be red. can i re-paint them? or what.....
any suggestions,, and also, what about the "BREMBO" name on the caliper? how would the re-write that if i were to re-paint the calipers?
thanks

There is a couple way to do this.
You can have them powder coated, and put a brembo sticker on it. However, it will not look 100% orginal, and people can tell that it had been work on.
You can also have brembo work on it. I ask them about that and they said you have to take all of the rubber seal off and they will repaint them. I guess that will look orginal, but then it will be alot of work.
It is hard to get a red caliper 350Z without spending some cash, thats for sure.

Well, if you want it to look orginal, then yea, sending it to brembo is the only way. But at that point, you might as well have brembo make it any color you like, cause it will be the same price. But god know how much all those rubber seal will cost you...I don't think brembo will sell those cheap.
Not to mention you can't drive for car for how ever long brembo will take to paint it.
I personally like the red over the gold brembo too, not to mention every 350z I see at the show (Japan and US) have gold brembo on, getting kind of boring looking at them.
