You're kinda right.

I HAD A '04 STI. Performance was all around, would handle great, psycho accereration and would stop on a dime. I really liked the car at first...then reality set in for me. I had a car that every kid wanted to try to race, blue and pink seats and blue carpet, HUGE field goal post spoiler, terrible in the snow and got owned by every Evo that came around. I currently have a '04 350Z. Imho, the Z is an all around better car for daily driving than an STI and looks better. I don't really need a daily driver so I am buying a S2K. Either get the Z or an EVO.

No offense taken, can't please everybody. I am pretty much just trying to get the most opinions I can from the guys that actually drive these vehicles. It helps to hear from people that have actually driven both.

well the 04 i think didnt have as much power as the newer 05 did with the bigger rs engine and bigger turbo. .cause i destroyed any evo that i came across with the 05. . .only thing the mitsu had better than the sube was a tad better handling. . .

I plan to test drive the ZR this weekend. I hope it works out. I would think the lower end torque would help make up for the increased weight. Are you talking about suspension type mods, speed mods, or both?

It's not too common you'll see another roadster around. Too many people have the coupe IMO owned by teenage kids.

Yeah I think that we have maybe one in our city. There are only maybe 3 coupes though too if even that many. Its nice having a car you don't see everytime you leave the house.

The NISMO may lap a track faster due to its improved suspension, aero, and more powerful VQ-HR but there is no way it handles better.
You can't cheat the laws of physics, weight, and pure bred design that favor the CR when it comes to handling feel.

Sorry but the test between both cars the NISMO handed the s2k CR it's a$$. Do a search on here for the post of the NISMO vs the S2000 CR.

The NISMO handles way better than the normal 350Z.
