Default The reason why I stall....

This was confirmed to me from the article on the Roadster on USA Today....

The only gripe is that in the Roadster, as in the coupe, there's a hint of a dead spot just off idle, so the inattentive driver can bog, even kill, the engine a bit too easily when starting off.


My exact problem! I need to get used to this.... any suggestions?

I rev the motor a little bit before i take off or leave from a stop that way i dont hit that dead spot.

This "dead spot" you refer to, is caused by the Drive by Wire throttle. If we had a traditional cable throttle, that would not happen. Anyone up for a conversion kit?

Would the grounding kit help any? From what I've read on here users are reporting a much smoother idle after it's installed....
