The service department of any dealership should be able to look the car up in the computer and determine its "in-service date" or delivery date. You have 5 years or 60 months from that date or until you pass 60K miles.
Remember that the powertrain warranty is 5yr/60K, your basic warranty only lasted 3yr/36K miles.

If you are the original owner, you should have the registration date for your Title.
If you are not the original owner, you can discover the date the original Title was issued by purchasing a CarFax report. Investing $20+ for this information gives you the ammo you need.
As Dave points out, you’re getting close here; so you need to get on this pronto.

im not the original owner, second owner but i was looking through my paperwork and on the temporary title it says under "first registered" - JAN2003... door sill says manufactured in 11/2002... so unless this JAN2003 could possibly mean the date the dealer took delivery i think im pretty much screwed and that JAN2003 was the date it was originally bought

I some-what know how you feel. I went to the dealership with my ZR after I bought it last spring(the roof had the infamous holes in the corners). I wanted the roof to be replaced under warranty & the dealers says" This is an 04. The warranty is most likely up.". I told him to check & the 3 year warranty ended Aug28 2007. We both looked at the date & it was Aug23 2007! I lucked out by 5 days! So we went over the whole car & got all the non-powertrain things fixed!
Another 5 days & I would have been out $3300 CDN for the roof & $1500 CDN for labour. Plus a couple bills for minor stuff.
Warranties= Peace of mind. I got my powertrain warranty extended till 2011.
