Goodbye to my Fairlady.....
This last Friday while coming home from a friends I was pushed into a ditch by a SUV (F-150 I think). The damage was very minimal because I corrected of the road into the median (The SUV kept on driving, basturd). It all happened so fast im still shock that it happened. Well while trying to get my car out of the ditch, a fire started in the engine bay. I dont know exactly how it happened but in minutes my car was in flames. I just sat on the road crying, I still feel like its a dream. Ill try and get pics on the car, gonna go the the bodyshop tomorrow to take of my rims since there was no damage to them. Heres how she looked before the mayhem:
My dad let me borrow one of his cars in the meantime while I shop around for something new. I had many great memories in this car that I will never forget. I think Ill get something more practical this time arounds maybe a WRX or GTI not to sure yet.

I smacked up my Z the other day... Nothing crazy, just scratches and dents in the fender and paint spidering in the bumper. But, it's murder having to daily drive my shame! It's going to the body shop next week. Sorry that happened, man. Good luck with whatever's next.

I understand that these things can happen, but your story sounds incredible. You should provide more details since it is unusual for a car to begin burning when doing a simple retrieval.

Obviously it is a freak accident, and he probably doesn't know the exact reason as to why it happened. Who really would?
