Sold my Z
Sold my Z thinking I did not get to use it enough- 9k miles in 2 years including a trip to Indy for the 500- and then got sports car fever so after months of test drives I purchased a MX-5. This little thing is the most fun I have had in a car since high school. My friend has a Z so I will continue to follow the news for him here.

The lack of power doesnt take away from the "fun factor?"

Have fun with your new car, man. If its the only thing in your 9 to 5 day that puts a smile on your face, then you made the right choice.
One question though: if you never drove the Z, why will the Miata be any different?

I never said I was normal. Consider the cars I have owned.
74 240z, 76 x1/9, 81 x1/9, 76 Alfetta, 87 300z, 91 vette, Jag s-type and x-type, Focus SVT, numerous Volvos, even one Toyota Van. My choice of cars is often short lived.
Oh Yes. I miss the 100+ horse power but not the 1000 pounds.

Z was to nice to take out and I had a beater. I look for places to go just to drive the Miata. I am old and slow so the miata is just my speed. With the Vette or Z I could be in over my head in 6 seconds. I can drive the miata like it's a bumper car- make that roller skate with an engine.
