ok..i was wondering if you guys can help me. ive started driving manual recently, and im pretty decent at it. One thing i've noticed though is that there are some funny clunky sounds when i drive in 1st gear and 2nd gear..BUT it is really smooth and i don't feel any jerks anywhere..but it still makes these noises. i was wondering if maybe i am doing something wrong or it is supposed to happen that way? any help would be appreciated. thanks guys

 

Mine makes a little extra noise but smooth on the 1st to 2nd shift, but thats it. All others are quiet.

 

Same here with me as well. What I did notice though, is that when the car gets really warmed up, it seems to decrease. And if you want to change gears until about 3,000 rpm it tends to decrease as well.
