I'm moving mid/late Aug from Colorado to Houston. My dad is coming up with his Dodge Ram 1500 w/ the Hemi and we're towing the Z down.
Was curious those that have towed their Z/G, what moving company did you use for a trailer? Everytime I look for a price on U-Haul it give me the front wheels dolly.
Thanks.

Technically you can flat tow the Z car with it in neutral. However, the tow bar would cost you more to set up than it would be worth. When I priced it out for kicks the tow bar with disconnects would have run about $550.
I'd rather put it on a trailer if it was just one trip. Around here it is $59 a day and those trailers are beat from UHAUL. I do not think you could get your Z on there without scratching the undersides. The angles don't look right and there is a 4" channel that sticks up on the inside edge of the tire for safety reason. I think you'll hit that on loading. You need something more like this:

I'd do it for a price.... Unfortunately, it would be transport cost that run .95 a mile both ways. J/K not worth my time... but, that the rate nowadays with gas etc.... I think Uhaul wants .40 a mile in addition to their daily rate. That's if you don't return it to the same location. Which in your case is kind of nuts.
It might be cheaper to drive to your destination and fly back. I'd probably do that.
