OP, what kind of dyno did you run it on?

From the way the graph looks, it looks like a Dyno Dynamic. I had a base line dyno at Dyno Dynamic a few months ago, I was only pulling 211. I am not surprised if his car dyno at 215 stock with the same dyno.

If an oil change yielded 15 whp gain, don't you think it would be discussed some more around here? Take a look at the thread - you are the only person that believes.

No, that is not the case. If you're popped in out of nowhere with some rediculous claim you will get your *** handed to you, and if they come off as a bigger dick then hell will be raised, we will sic the guard dog aka Hrea on them! No joke!

listen dynos read different due to elev. air press. how hot it is/cold / w/e else

if you dyno your car in canada and then in texas your not going to dyno anywhere near the same.

Is that what happened? You did the dyno in Canada, drove to Texas, did your oil change and redyno?

there's been a lot of discussion on the forums already about eneos oil. a SIMPLE, ONE WORDED search would have led you to hundreds of posts about it.

which aren't exactly GOOD.

so hunny bunny, you're not the first to use this oil and you won't be the last. no one, though, is claiming some ridiculous gains like you are.

 

I switched to Mobil 1 0W-30 on my last change. I haven't notice anything either, gain wise. If anything the variations in weight are there to offer different internal engine protection levels...

 

yeah, especially when what we are to receive will not even come close to paying for the dyno time....

Hey OP, im going to clear this up for you right now. A STOCK Z should not dyno 215 whp. That is pretty low. If you car put that down with your mods, then something is wrong with your engine. Either the oil had 60K miles on it, or something else in your engine was messed up. It was not the oil change that got you 15 whp.
