Noone doubts you dynoed at 215 then 230 with no changes to the car other than oil. But I'm telling you right now the oil isn't the difference. Dyno setup. Dyno operator. There's lots of variables.

Go talk to any reputable engine builder about which oil will give you 15whp and they'll laugh there *** off at you.
Not agreeing or disagreeing with anybody here but just wanted to share this video with you guys. Doesnt get much more reputable this engine builder. I know its not the same motor but you get the idea.

What were the temperatures and barometric pressures at the time of both dynos.

Maybe you netted 3-4 hp from a viscosity change and got 12 hp from the change in conditions.

I read up to this page(5) and I am fed up with this guy!
There are a couple points I want to show you: Mr enthusiast z with jwt popcharger, mangaflow exhaust, test pipes, D/S rotors:

1. you are a noob in this field, there are hundreds of 350z gurus who have completely built 350z in here with FI that can blow your stupid head away. Do you really think they would over look at something like this IF that is the REAL DEAL????
2. how much do you think people in here KNOW about dyno/oil/all the **** you are talking?
3. I think that you have you oil changed FOR THE FIRST TIME since you getting that new car and jump around like a little kid just saw some ******* for the first time!
4. You should sit down, search and read this website for 100+ more times, carefully, before acting like you know what the hell you are talking about!
Btw: Oil change can get 15whp? is that oil from NASA?

not to help the guy but in our racecars we seen a 7whp increase from motul to moble 1 with moble 1 being the better oil. but if the car had 20/50 in it before and he changed it to 0/30 or 5/30 u could see 10 whp maybe.

Yes and no, lubricant eliminate more frictions among the moving parts, it should def give you some power but to a very minimum level, not 15 freaking hillbilly hp.

I used astroglide in my car, and got 1.2 gigawatts of power. Thats 1,609,226 Hp, so a gain of 1,609,000 hp. Now my car goes back in time. Its awesome. I just picked up a bunch of vintage stuff on the cheap.

The most whp I have ever seen in person with a car never leaving dyno with an oil change was with Schaeffer's oil. A 2006 6.0 Gto made 316.8 uncorrected dyno dynamics rwhp before, and after an oil change with 20 minutes to warm up it made 322.0 rwhp, never coming off of the dyno.

All of this was done in a 45 minute time frame and witnessed by a group of 30-45 people at a seminar conducted by Schaeffer's.

On a side note, the second largest gain that I have ever seen was on my girlfriends car under the exact same conditions, 2002 Honda S2000 (Vtec FTW). Initial pull was 178.1 whp after oil change with said Schaeffer's yielded 181.3 whp.

Never, and let me stress NEVER will a car in stock form, from an Audi to a Zonda will ever, ever make 15 rwhp on a basic oil change!!!!
