Default wtf my car got owned

I got into a car accident today, why me. The guy was tailgateing me and the car infront of me made a quick turn, I had to break and the guy in back of me smashed my rear. How bad do you guys think the damg is just by the pics? I might get the new nismo kit instead of putting back stock anyone know the price difference from stock kit and nismo? Here are the pics

UPDATE. so the other party's insurance looked at my car and delcared it total! does anyone know how it works? he said they'll give me a call in a few days to look at the option

I despise tail gaters. They are the essence of stupidity. First off, did you manage to get the guy who did this to you as well as his information. File a police report?

As for the damage, could be totalled.

Wow that's no good, I hope it's not totalled. It probably won't be by looking at it.

yeah I got all his information and insurance, lucky he had insurance. Right after the hit some people off the streets came by and act as witnesses so I didn't call the police (thinking over maybe i should have)

That is a pretty serious rear-ended. The car behind must have been moving at a good clip. Looks like 4 body panels plus tail lights. About $6,000.

damn, looks like it was a pretty hard hit. The other guy must be driving a truck huh? Hope you are feeling ok. You might be feeling sore for the next couple days. It could be total loss if your car is a 04 or older. Hope your insurance will take care of you. Good luck on everything.

Inner-bumper. Possible frame damage too. If he hit you hard enough to do that much external damage, there's internal also.
Been rear-ended myself...Chiropractor.

If for any reason you are hit from the back, it is automatically the person at the back's fault. It is a clear indication that the person in the back was way too close or going way too fast (or a combination of the two) to prevent the accident.

I wouldn't keep the car, you are probably going to have problems with the it down the road. Pray that your insurance company is going to total the car.

I always have cops come out if the accident happens on a public road. Therefore, there is a police report, which goes a long way when it comes to the other party's insurance taking responsibility, when the police investigation corrborate your claim that their client was at fault.
