Z gets no respect? Rant

I think your just being self concious (not a good speller). I feel that way some times as well. I'm sure the corvette guys might have been picking a little, but thats just how corvette guys are. As for the mustang and celica, let that one go , you should not even consider taking offence to that!

Dude forget those lame's that were talking about your ride... Proof is in the pudding and that pudding was your time at the track. No need to stoop to their level so they feel better about them selves... You drive a pure sports car with a wonderful driving experience enjoy it and leave those haters in the dust!!!!

dude people in vettes are always cocky like that. The Z is one of the best track cars out there. Vettes and vipers are low on the list. Dont worry about it. They obviously dont know what they are talking about.

Don't let the haters get you down. Our Zs can hold their own on the track, and still look good. A couple of weekends ago in autocross, I spanked a couple of Z06s, a Ford Cobra and several STis. That's a usual weekend for me. Here are the results of the fastest raw time for each driver (I'm #18 out of 72 entries):
http://www.sasca.org/forum/uploaded/...r-2008_raw.htm
The 1st three really do not count since they're carts. The only ones faster than me are the FI S2Ks and Miatas, and faster drivers who compete (and have won/placed) at the National level.
Yes, I let my Z (and my driving) do the talking on the track . . .

There is an STI EXACTLY like that in my town, I had to check your location because there was no way it wasn't him. But it's not. The dude is a total tool, and talks with a lisp. He always cruises alone.
PS: You got nice times but I'd like to see what'd you get in a manual.

Z's have had some issues like any car, but boxters have had major issues that tend to blow engines way before their time. Check a Porsche board.
Other than that, you are right...
