Z gets no respect? Rant
Be prepared to see jerks like that...At Laguna Seca for the American Le Mans final in Oct, There is a Vette corral with about 100-150 vettes and most of them belong at a Nascar event.
I sat in the bleachers by w/ my wife and a group of Vette guys came to sit and watch the qualifying round of ALMS..before too long they where talking ****/ bench racing...I just got up and sat around some "Porsche" fans..
I know some Corvette guys are more mature..but I guess "Pack Mentality" overrides maturity.

2. on sunday, i was in line waiting to run a lap and there was this chick that looked like a butch lesbian with some dude in a c5 vette lined up next to me, and I heard the chick say "oh look one of those 300zx... huh 350z, stupid why is it here" the thing is he couldnt get under a min lap..
There were a few other comments I heard this weekend about my car that really pissed me off...I just dont get why people were hating on my car, I kept up with the evos, beat a few sti's, beat a ton of vetts, stock vipers, honda's, rx8's, ect...

If you produce results, it'll take away their (lack of) credibility to their insults. Just brush your shoulders off, keep your mouth shut, and produce blazingly fast times Good luck (especially against the STi crowd - they tear up the AutoXs around here).

Alot of people from any car following would laugh...
JUST AN FYI: I've had two Z's - an auto and a manual... no manual mode compares to a clutch
