k, z has looked like so for about 4 years now. been driving my ford company car for the last 1+ years. i don't want to be flashy, i just want enough looks to impress. a somewhat smoother ride. and decent rims. let me know if the parts i'm using are bad, good, good enough, or suggest another brand that will make me happier. thanks.

1) front rims both have curb rash

QUESTION: should i spend the money to get them cleaned up or leave them be.

2) front rim on driver side is wrong color, i didn't start noticing until i washed my car 50 times and then though that it was just dirty, go figure.

QUESTION: get someone to refinish the rims and powder coat them to the same finish, only problem is i don't know where to get this done in the bay area or go with another brand that won't break the bank.

3) thinking of getting tanabe sustec nf210 springs and lower the car just enough to cover the wheel wells

QUESTION: i have a set of stock springs from a 2006 track z that my buddy gave me. use those or go with the tanabe or go with another brand?

4) i've got some infinity components for the fronts and infinity speakers for the rear.

QUESTION: will this improve the sound of the bloze or get an amp.

my car: 03 z touring manual, adr m-sport rims, everything else stock

 

Get different wheels - ADR = teh suck

Get the coilovers for a better stance

while replacing the speakers, get a headunit and amp

Get rid of the front grill

Get different front reflectors, either clear, tinted, or black

 

1. live with the curb rash if it is not too severs

2. same answer aa #1, can you live with the issues

3. Springs will be fine, no need to spend $$ for coilovers if you are not going to be tracking your Z car

4. Breakdown & just replace all the stereo components, speakers, amp(s), head unit and use some dynamat on the stereo install it makes one hell of a difference in the audio quality.

5. Yes lose the front grill, you are not driving a Ford pick em up truck!!!

 

Replace the head unit , its a big part of the sound quality issue. Ditch the grill, like said above its not a truck. Refinish $100 wheels LOL

i say get new rims, install the speakers, and springs
change the look up a good bit, and make it more enjoyable to cruise around in.

 

i think you guys just about covered everything...definitely scrap the grill and put up a new set of wheels.

 

How about you can give the money to us?

seriously its your car, do what makes YOU happy

 

I like the color, get rid of the grill and the tires are bland.

 

Most of the questions aren't asking WHAT the person should get, it's asking for a potential outcome or solution. Please read before flaming.

i don't know the grill is better than the stock black bars. i've been eyeing the new nismo rays rims. coilovers are looking to be a definite no no and the springs are in. pretty much a once a week cruiser car from now on. any suggestions on what rim size and tires i should get, offsets, etc...

i would love to get the ings lx body kit but too much $$$.
