This applies to the 350z members. I get questions sometimes from random ppl, or even co-workers. Mark, I heard about your 300ZX! Or the Sonic girl car-hopper, OMG I totally love your 300Z! Compliments are nice therefore I don't correct them, just nod and say thanks.

 

Never had it happen.

 

No one in my town even knows what a Z is, so for them to screw up models would mean they'd have to know at least two.

 

I get it ALL the time. I guess the 350 on the back isn't a clue. Oh well, reading comprehension gets worse and worse.

The only ppl that refer to my car as a 300 are old-timers and carhop sonic girls as well! The girlie's comments doesn't bother me though

I think the 300ZX was one of the most beautiful cars designed. It's never happened to me, but I'd take it as a compliment. Wouldn't trade my 350 for one though.

Me either...I happen to love the 300ZX, and if someone confuses it with the 300 it wouldn't bug me a bit.

Happened to me once parked in front of a friend's house, and I didn't mind at all.

I guess 350s are hotter/more admired at Puerto Rico than stateside, guys. I bought mine ('04 Touring Coupe) on Feb. 8th., and SO FAR nobody's mistaken it for a 300. Not only are they a rarity down here, they're so much more ex-
pensive! Mine cost its original owner $40,200--NO GPS! The '08 one is an in-
credible $47,900!!! So, getting an '04 Coupe for $22,000, with just 13,201k
on it is A BLESSING FROM GOD! Whoa! (NO feathering, so far!).

 

Pretty soon they'll start asking us about our Altimas.
