A limiter is a limiter, 159mph been published many times. I guess your car is special right? Somebody that gets so upset over something online is also hilarious, remind me of the guys who bark real loud and never bite.

You want to go all out on a public highway safely? Try the Silver State Classic. 90 miles of road, drive as fast as your car can take you. September 18-21.

I guess I'm the only one that hasn't brought it up that high... Fastest I've gone is 130, and I did that when first hit 2,500 miles (breakin) just for kicks. I don't like top speed anyway.

160 on the digital display is not really 160mph. The speedo isn't calibrated to be exact on at that speed.

Doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning's, winning!

Just thought a random F&F qoute was needed there.

Well when I hit 160 mph on my digital one, my NAVI showed 154 mph.

I also have a video of mine, but you can't make out the speedo due to camera shake real well.

True, but the ECU reads exactly the same of what the digital speedo is reading. And 160 is where the speed limiter is on the HR engine and where the ECU cuts it off.

Actual speed can only be checked via GPS and that was 154-155 on my Navi.

I got mine up to 158 mph over the Gandy Bridge in Tampa and the car was so stable. Our cars are limited by gearing, and engine output. We should also consider that both speedometers can't be 100% accurate at all times. So around 160 should be the top speed for a stock 350Z.

As to Ohio, 20 over gets you reckless op, big fine. Top speed, reckless op, big fine, loss of license, car impounded. HOW BIG ARE YOUR NADS? Try this in Ohio.

Incorrect my friend. The Z at least the HR has more in it. Between 150-160 it actually was stilll pulling somewhat good and just stops at 160 instantly. The car can probably hit 170 stock at the most.

It isn't limited by gearing. But the DE was limited by engine output where the HR helps.
