Default Trading In Z for a G

It's time for a back seat and that means no more Z for me. Although, I have my eye set on a 06-07 G35 Coupe. I've done some modding on my Z like coilovers, plenum spacer, pop charger, anti-role bar and spc cambers. Since the both cars are basically the same, I was wondering if it was worth it to switch the suspension back to stock and use the parts for the G. I've got 60K on my 03 Z and I owe more than what I would probably get for trade in and was wondering if it would do me any good to put the Z back to stock form since the aftermarket parts would probably bring the value down even more.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

This is the first time I'm trading cars and don't exactly know what I'm getting myself into.<o></o>

Thanks for any input, I know some of you guys have been through this.<o></o>

yup, sell the stuff on the car and use that money to make up for your loss since dealers aren't going to give you anything for it.

"Dealer" and "give" don't usually go together.

I've got to be honest, I'm not completely sure about the G like how I was with the Z. The G is a great car, I had my eye on it when I was at the dealership the first time I saw my Z. And if it wasn't for the jacked up price on the G's at the time, I probably would have gotten one. Once I got into the Z and test drove it, I was in love. Souped up dreams.... I tried to get as far as I could with the mods, but life is all about little surprises. I feel bad looking at it now because I didn't buy the Z with intentions of trading or selling after three years. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

On the flip side, imagining a baby seat in back seat of the G brings me back up, probably more than the Z could ever do. All in all, I'm going to miss the Z, but look forward to a G, especially the baby.<o></o>

I would personally put your Z on the local market just to see what you might be able to get, might bepossible to get more selling yourself then taking the cash to the dealer.
