Default Foot getting stuck when you depress clutch???

Hi guys!

I am new to the forums and tomorrow I should be picking up my 2008 350z enthusiast 6MT for $31,000 out the door from a local dealership. I'm a 6'1 190lbs guy and I fit perfectly in the Z but when I drove my buddy's 07 Z today, my foot gets stuck when I depress the clutch using my whole foot. I had no problems with this in my 06 Acura TL. I was fine when I was just using my toes but I'd rather be pressing clutch with whole fooot... can I maybe remove plastic that's getting my foot stuck?

Also.. do you guys think that's a good deal? It was about $200 above the invoice. It's got side airbags and few other minor accessories like convenience package, carpeted trunk mat, bla bla...

damn.. yea I probably didn't sit back enough as my friend is 5'9 and I put the seat back a lil bit but not that much! I will adjust the sit properly tomorrow at the dealership before I test drive it..

What do you guys think of the price? I gotta search for 08 prices

Today I was quoted $27,900 + taxes, title, tags for an 08 enthusiast, but I don't think it has the side airbags. I think you can do better, but I'm not sure how much taxes are in your state so its tough to judge based on your OTD price.

What is the price before taxes, title, tag?

Good Luck!

Here is the break down: $28,548 that includes the following: side airbags/head curtains, carpeted floor mats, cargo convenience package, carpeted trunk mat. Those options are $865 MSRP or $714 Invoice.

On top of that $28,548 there is $625 destination charge which makes the total cost to me $29,173. Taxes in my state are 7% + title and tags. Was your quoted $27,900 with destination charge? Did it have any extra options? Bone stock Enthusiast with no options is $27,629 Invoice price... before the destination charge.

So if your price was without the destination charge I am getting a better deal as my price without the options and the destination charge is $27,834

My price did include destination charge... but your deal doesn't sound bad at all from what I can tell... 7% sales tax is rough man, glad I live in Virginia it is only 3% here!

Wow, tax at 3% is real nice and you got a pretty good deal. So are you buying it? Do you own a Z currently?

sweet! This is the only dealership that I called but I told them that I'm getting quotes from other dealerships too... this dealership is the only one with enthusiast and I'm def. not going with base... I need traction control

Also, my friend bought his last year and this dealership was best in cutting deals.

Thats cool, I graduate in beginning of May too... with bachelors in business administration... but I've been working full time for past 2 years. Good luck man

That's great man! I agree, the enthusiast is definitely the way to go. Sounds like you're getting some good help from the dealership, be sure to post some pictures once you buy her!

Congrats on graduating too man, my degree is in civil engineering... it's crazy to think about this being my last month in college ever.... Good luck with the car and graduating and the real world!
