Rain Intrusion through the window
I have yet to see a posting of anyone's frustration with the water drips into the driving compartment when the window is lowered in any type of rain. I drove in rain for three hours this afternoon and could only open the window when the rain slacked off.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I can't see a quick fix without adding some deflector to the windowsill, which would be completely unacceptable.

OK this is really pissing me off when i had my prelude honda came out with this cool stealth looking window visor the everyone wouldn't mind getting but not everyone needed it because it wasn't that big of a problem but it looked good, it didn't look generic at all.
my question is as painfully as it may sound does Nissan have anything like this? hey I'm with you i dint like this either but i would like to check it out as a temp thing.....maybe.

nope. it only works on cars where the door frame goes around the window. Because the Z doesnt have a frame, it would have to attach to the roofline, which would prevent the door from opening when the window is up. And, it would look like crap.

Yup - its becuase there is no gutter due to the frameless window. I thought it was just the ZR that had this problem but I guess the coupe does too.
My guess is that the styling of newer cars can't afford to have some long gutter looking thing sticking out like the 1980 cars had.

i wont be sarcastic like these other a$$holes.. haha j/k
but on a serious note i do know what you are talking about. some cars have different aerodynamics therefore more rain will get in even a cracked window. its the shape of the car.
i like having the windows down too, but just save it for the dry days
