When I got my 04 ZR I purchased it online and from speaking with the dealership. It was the one in my price range with everything that I wanted. A few things I made sure where in excellent condition and working were the top, tires, and breaks. I made sure no CEL's were going to surprise me when I made my journey back home.

I flew to Orlando and drove the car 25 hours to get home. It was a long and enjoyable drive. I learned from a previous mistake about buying online that I wouldn't make again.

Before the ZR I had an S2000. I got it off of ebay. Flew to pick it up. About 1 hour into the drive the CEL comes on. That was a miserable drive wondering what the heck is going on. The dealer tells me it is probably just emissions. Well I was getting misfires. Turned out to be the VAFC II that was installed. The clown that did the install messed up the wiring on it. I removed the VAFC II and the misfires and light went away. On top of that the dealer stated the tires were new but they looked bad. The dealer wouldn't budge and said it was fine when it left.

I told myself the next time I buy I will do it right.
