Default Leaving the Z family

i am close to selling my car as i am parting it out slowly. i have links under the marketplace, but yeah its been nice knowing everyone here and everyone has been pretty nice and helpful. I am almost sure that im going to get a BMW335 as my next car. Enjoy and hopefully i can get another Z later on. i just needed a 4 seater and a more reliable car.

good move you will love the 335 tt motor and especially the maintenance free warranty that will come along with it. I made the move to a ZHP 330ci a couple of months ago when my z was totalled and never looked back. I would love to have another Z as a track car though, once I can afford one.

I have an 05 35AE and an 04 325Ci- both are reliable, but then again, I only have 25k on the Z and 37K on the BMW. I think that you should have to actually own the car to be qualified to say if it's reliable or not.

Buy extended warranty if available... for an extra 1k to 1300, you can get 100k warranty/ peace of mind.

If you get a BMW with less than 4 years and 50k miles, you have a zero maintenance plan- brakes, oil, repairs... everything. If you get a certified pre owned BMW, I think your warranty goes up to 100k- but you have to pay for the maintenance- oil, brakes, etc... My 325 only gets new oil every 15k @ about $98.00 from dealer. My wifes Acura RDX gets new oil every 5k which costs about the same at the dealer... which car is cheaper to maintain.

Test drive an 04/05 330Ci/i... ZHP 6 speed. You will be suprised!!! You should be able to pick one up for 24-26k...

Best part... 325Ci gets a solid 24mpg mixed city/hwy and 32 hwy x 5 seats... my Z only gets 18 city/hwy and 27 hwy x 2 seats.

D

When I get another vehicle it's going to be BMW 330TT or the 530 BMW or a Lexus SLS I hope I can still keep my Z-car but if not I think I'll do Ok in the BMWs or Lexus. So I'm going the same upgrade you gotta have something practical.

I'd like to keep the Z because the Sedans/Coupes will be replacing my 02 infinity.

sorry to burst your buble, but I had an 01 E55 and it had trany problems and too many rattles on the inside. and my E500 stalled on me twice on the turnpike, breaks were an issue, suspension. never getting a benz again! and I'm not a crazy driver, i cruise. so, its definately not that crazy driving that is the issue. Many european cars have gone down the drain in reliability. Although, I do love the 6 series BMW.
