Default What's the best site to sell a modded 350?

I've had enough. I love the car but I'm over aftermarket shenanigans. My garage down here does a great job but they just can't find reliable info half the time. People never carry things in stock, never have accurate turn around times, send the wrong parts etc. Hell half the time they can't tell me what LSD will fit what gear box. It's ridiculous. One distributor says it will fit, another says no way. I'm sure there are "the right guys" to go to and I've gone to those suggestions often. Almost always it's been a sophomoric amateur experience. I am going to replace my differential and sell the car. I have a GT-R coming my way in late 2009 and my SUV is going away in a few months. I would rather sell this and buy a G37 in the meantime so I can have a G37s for my daily and my GT-R for my fun car instead of a big crap American SUV and a constantly down 350. Which mind you is always down because of minor dumb things, not any actual mechanical defaults. I just don't have the time or patience to deal with aftermarket turboed cars anymore. Especially when it is a kinda track kinda street hybrid. It's worse than owning a boat.

I saw modified car trader . com. Anything else anyone can suggest?

Thanks

~Josh

lol this is hilarious im selling my g37 to get 08 350z, but this immature honda owner talk is making me second guess myself hmmmmm........ =/ i love the 350z but my feelings are mixed up. i know ill prob just get the 350z since it was my first choice. i bought the G37 b/c i was expecting more but wasn't to impressed. i just wish the new HR engines had a supercharger or TT already so i can justify the downgrade in price.

As in any blog, you tend to see the interesting side of people with ananimity. Their ***** grow to the size of church bells when the person they are bashing doesn't know who who they are.

Don't judge a book (Z cars) by it's cover (this fourm). You could turn to a number of Z sites and get different (more to your liking) membership.

I wouldn't let an online forum decide whether you should buy 350Z or not. There are ****** on every site. On the S2K forums there were people that had nothing better to do with their time than put other people down.

I have sold and bought a car on ebay so I would say that is the best. Autotrader, cars.com, craigslist, msnautos are a few that come to mind.

Thank you gents. Reason was I was wondering if there was a "modified car" site that had any degree of legitimacy. Most of what I saw was hokey.

Thanks again.

Better off parting out the mods. Extremely rare situations where you will recoup any of your expenses selling it modded.

I agree, part it out and you'll likely get more money in the long run. Your other options are to sell it on this site or ebay. Good luck

+1....with so many Zs on the road, you are bound to find someone looking to mod.

Part back to stock and sell.

I wasn't trying to be a dick when I said what I said. Like Z04 said, it's just getting old seeing the same threads popping up. You typed this long story about why you wanted to get rid of your Z because of a couple bad experiences and you're getting a GT-R, I'm happy for you, but I didn't understand the life story just to ask where to sell the car. Maybe to help answer your original question a bit better, here are a bunch of places a lot of people frequent:

ebay.com, cars.com, autotrader.com, modifiedcartrader.com, cardomain.com, cragislist.com, my350z.com classifieds, local classified adds. Hope this may help.

As someone said before, you may be better parting it out.

Hey man no problem. I'm obviously in a bit of a foul mood so I kinda let it rip at.. what.. 6 am? I figured if any of the old school guys read the thread it'd let them know why I was giving the car up. I took it personal and I apologize.

As for parting the car, I don't know if we'd be able to really get it back to "fully" stock at this point to be honest. When it gets posted I'll let everyone know in case anyone is interested. Got to sort out the dif first. Thanks again

It's cool, no hard feelings. I also was in a rare mood posting at like 3-4am. Sorry it came off that way, hope the sale or parting out goes well, which ever you decide to do.
