So I recently (Friday) picked up my car from the paintshop where my nismo V1 kit was painted and installed. I also picked up the old front bumper, side skirts, and little mud covers or whatever they are.
Anyways, the problem lies in that when I looked at the sideskirts when I picked them up I noticed large gouges in one of them, deep enough that its down into the urethane and about 10-12 inches in length. There was as well some decent scuffing on the bottom of the sideskirts that was not present when I dropped the car off.
Is this something that is a normal occurrence? I know I should contact the paint shop, but what should I ask for? Repair? Conpensation? I feel something should come of this.

Are the scraps and gouges on the very bottom??? If so it may be likely that they have been there but you have never noticed them. You never really see the bottom of the sideskirts unless you have your car up on a lift or something. If you know for a fact that they did it though i would for sure just bring it to thier attention, and see what they say. Goodluck

I mentioned the damage to the owners wife, who was the only one there when I picked the car up. So it was mentioned when I picked them up.
The gouges were on the side and definitely new. the scuffs could have been there, but I highly doubt it as they are on a somewhat visible part of the sideskirt.
I guess I'll just call them up and see what they say. It wasnt the owner who did the work, but one of his techs. Its a pretty stand up place so I hope they handle the appropriately as I'm a repeat customer.
