I would have said the definition of handling is how fast a car can take a turn.

The official def.
Car handling and vehicle handling is a description of the way wheeled vehicles perform transverse to their direction of motion, particularly during cornering and swerving. It also includes their stability when moving in a straight line.

isn't that the difference between a good handling car and a bad handling car? I think I'd take a car that could 80 around a corner instead of one that goes 40.

yes, of course. like style. Say, for instance, an Escalade can't go fast in a corner, but ends up with better handling than a Lotus because of style points. Even more points are added with large chrome spinners.

This reminds me of the debate people used to have between the early and late MKII MR2 years.

The earlier years had shorter control arms which made for a more 'responsive' handling. While the later years were extended which made for a more 'driver friendly' handling.

most people said the earlier years with the shorter arms was more like a true sports car, while the longer arms just made sure the average driver didnt over-steer and spin out.

So take that as you will..

Easy answer to this thread. the Z is for SPORT!!!! the G is for LUXURY. a Sport car will have better handling than a luxury car but you'll feel the road more which u want in a car for handling. the G of course will be a smoother ride but hey thats luxury for you.

Before I bought the Z, I test drove the G. Both were awesome cars, but the Z felt like it's part of the road, while the G floated. Tested on the hwy and the G just had more of a body roll than what I would want in a sports car.

An Escalade competing in handling because of style. The Cadillac Truck/SUV might rate high if we comparing Trucks. But when talking about Sport cars its still a Truck that handles like a big truck and I don't care how much chrome or spinners it has it doesn't handle like a sport car.

What point were you trying to make? And what do you mean by handle, unless you are talking about your business and you're a PIMP.

The 350Z is a Sport Car the G35 is a Sports luxury Coupe, which one sounds like it should handle best, let you common sense guide ya. Of course the 350Z.

The G has better interior bc can you guess why? Bc its a SLC. Bingo.

Maybe its just that your internet humor is light years ahead of mine, because otherwise I'd have to say you're quite off the mark about Tubb's comment.

And I beg to differ, spinners make anything corner like a rollercoaster
