since im new at driving stick....
once again guys wassup...i have a daytona blue 350z 6 speed.. and the only problem i have is on a hill at a light....i hear a different method you could use when your a rookie at driving stick like me lol .. when your on the hill at a light put the e brake up.. does any1 use that method if so how does it work like the procedure..??
you can put the e-brake on to prevent you from rolling backwards.
You will have to overcome the force of the e-brake when accelerating forward, though. When you begin to move forward, release the e-brake.
Just give it more gas. This is most often used off road, but it works fine for your situation as well.

today imma go practice on the hills... im going to use the e brake for a while... i really cant take my car to places were i dont know because i still have to get better..but thanx for the info dude...but anyways if anyone else wants to respond.. it will be good...appreciate it ...be safe
yeah hold the ebrake button tho. you dont want to actually lock it like your gonna park, use it as a hand brake rather than a parking break, you can actually let it go gently as you give it gas. not sure if thats clear or not, so just wanted to clarify.
hills arent too bad, but its good to have the trusty ebrake backup when some soccer mom pulls | | close to your bumper. I still use it sometimes if its a sharp hill and someone is touching my rear.
short of heel toe shifting(something I cant do) youll always roll back a little bit.

the e-brake is used to allow you to take your foot off the brake and apply the gas, and proceed to mix the throttle and clutch - all while avoiding rolling backward. with enough time driving the car you'll know where the clutch catches, and whether you're giving it enough gas to hold the car on the hill under it's own power, that's the point where you disengage the e-brake- then give it more gas, completely let off the clutch and move forward.
eventually, your left foot will know just how high to come up until the clutch catches, and with your right foot you will be able to come off the brake and spike/blip the throttle quickly while also holding it at a certain point/maintaining an rpm- resulting in a perfect mix of clutch and throttle that will hold the car in place, while you continue to apply throttle and release the clutch pedal to move forward- all without the e-brake.
I usually only use it when I'm parked parallel, facing uphill, and the car behind me is parked like right on my A$$.
