She's HERE! BUT IT WONT STOP RAINING!
Well i Just picked her up tonite!!! IM so pressed, but it wont stop raining though! Of course I goto the dealership around 7pm tonite, when the sales manager told me to come back when it would be less busy, etc. So I show up at 7:15, get the paperwork done, everything, and its almost 10pm by the time I'm out of there and of course my luck- it just began raining! It was light at first so I got to drive her around some, but after about 15 min, it began pouring down hard, and lightning, thunder...So i wasn't trying to drive it too hard in the rain...So now im stuck inside for a little while until this dies down! But man she's gorgeous! I will post back with more info later

Did yours come over on the boat? Just asking cause my dealer told me the boat docked a couple days ago and my Z is on it. I hope this means there on the truck for delivery. I want my Z so bad I can feel the shifter in my hand.

clear skies!
Well its almost 10am now..I goto work in about an hour..and I havent been able to stop driving her!! The car is incredible! I woke up at like 8am, no more rain, and the roads were dry!!The excitement hasn't even worn off slightly! If anything, i think im just now realizing I have a freaking Z in front of my house! I just jumped out of bed, put on shoes and went driving. Its SO DAMN tempting to take it over 4k though..i wont lie.. And I assume everyone else who had to go through the break-in period knows this too - the car sounds awesome from the moment you start her up...but oh man, as soon as you get to about 3500 or 4k the exhaust/engine start to get MEAN! Im just like Dammit i still have more rpm's to go! But its all good, I'm sure I'll have no problem driving her enough to get to 1200 pretty quick. And as far as delivery, it was actually kinda goodluck for me. I was assuming a few weeks ago, (and since I wanted a Z) that I would have to go through the whole order process, waiting months, etc. So when i told the sales manager which model/color I wanted, he had the EXACT one on his lot! So I wasted no time in picking her up ! I mean the car did have about 90 miles on it when I bought it, but thats simply because it had been from different to dealerships in the past weeks. But the sales manager assured me there were no test drives whatsoever. Plus it still had the white plastic covering over most of it, so I wasn't complaining. Anyways, I guess I gotta get ready for work at somepoint today...need to make sure I can keep her in the driveway. To anyone who is JUST in the last weeks/month or so of getting your Z -- Its worth it...its SO WORTH IT. Even when the salesmen was backing the car up toward me so I could get a look at it, I already knew I HAD to have it!

Madmax-
haha, its all good man, none taken. But dont get me wrong, Im pretty sure that someone had test driven it, or taken it past 4k RPM's There were 98 miles when I bought it, and even though thats not SO MUCH, it was still definitely a point I made. And trust me, I did get the price lowered several hundred with that point, plus the fact it was a 2003 model, and they are gona need space for the '04's ! LoL
Anyways though the car has been nothin but amazing so far, so that means less typing , more shifting for now
