never curbed a rim in the past 7 years i've been driving... hope I never will.. i'll park 2 feet away from a curb when i'm parking if i'm not sure.. get out, check, then repark.. rather look like I can't drive then curb my rims. lol not curbing to me is inevitable

It's inevitable, but it still makes you feel completely worthless when you do it. I curbed one of mine about a month after putting them on, and not I'm completely paranoid. I figure I'll let them get all f-d up before I get them all refinished.

Get wider tires. Seriously, it helps.

Certainly salvageable!

If you don't know of a good wheel refinishing shop in your area, go to http://www.mobilewheelrepair.com/ and check to see if anyone's in your area. They do good work (in MD at least) and are relatively cheap

I did this to both of my left side rims pulling out of the dealership right after buying the '08. You'd thought I'd have learned how to drive this damn thing after owning an '05 for three years.
