Unhappy Low-Riding ain't so easy.

I was leaving my friend's house tonight, it is a gated community and they have a fairly low speed bump and some spikes at the exit, those spikes are the ones that you cannot roll back on or it will pop tires. I have been driving over them with no problem for a long time, but tonight my luck was bad and one of the big nails that hold the speed bump in place popped up and caught under my car. I was stuck and can not move at all, then my car somehow rolled back and my front bumper lip got caught on the spikes that are placed about 5 feet in front of the speed bump, and ripped right off. My front bumper also was torn half way off my car, bent the driver side fender a bit. I finally called AAA, they showed up in about ten minutes and saved me.

All because of this little bastard:

We hammered it back in for the safety of other people:

Spikes and speed bump? That's kind of excessive. That gated community must have a lot of VIP's, huh? Sucks about the nail. Lucky thing you don't have a front lip.

those spikes look like they could pop a tire just by rolling over them regularly

Your friend's gated community is like Hotel California. You can checkout any time you like, but you may never leave.

dude, I'd have whoever owns that area pay for the damage. They should be held responsible.
