So I just got my 08 PPW base about a month ago and as I was going to school today I got rearended....I was stopped at a red light for a few seconds and the person behind me was stopped also. I glanced at my rearview mirror and I see the lady looking for something on the floor of her car then I just look straight again. A second later I get hit....she just let go of her brakes and ran into me. The damage isn't much but just the fact that she hit me in such a stupid way pissed me off

Do not get a body kit, ew, lol. Get genuine nissan parts, since her insurance is paying for everything make sure it gets done at a nissan dealer. im sorry to hear about what happened, theres not enough words to describe how I feel about du/\/\B A$$ women drivers that dont pay attention, not saying all women, but the ones that think theyre at home, ****ing idiots.

 

Yea im going to get it fixed at a dealer since im not paying for it. Im not a big fan on bodykits but some look pretty nice. Either way I got no money right now so no bodykit for me haha.

There actually is some indentations and a screw on her license plate or something left a pretty deep outline.

 

That sucks! I always get nervous when I see that the driver behind me is looking for something in the car.

 

I get pissed off and nervous when I see somebody pull up close to me from behind. at the light, I always move up to give it some more space. I've actually had to honk just to get their attention a few times. That happened in the previous car though.

 

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Just be lucky it wasnt one of the accidents that make you feel like the car will never be the same.

welcome to the club. I got hit by a mustang a month and a half after I got mine. Get a NISMO exhaust, you wont regret it! By the way unless you have over 12,000 the insurance company will only use oem parts on the vehicle, and nissan isn't necessarily better. What area are you in? I may be able to help with a shop.

 

Sucks =/ being rearended is a pain in the *** (LOL, a pun!) but at least fate waited a month to screw you. Literally the first day I had my Z, a deer decided to leap out from some bushes while I was on an onramp and left a nice ding and light scuff in my door panel. I was livid, but it's all taken care of now. PDR FTW!

 

same crap happened to me within a couple months of owning mine...

I have a nice imprint of this guys license plate in my rear bumper!

I guess I will chime in as well,,,,I was rear-ended by a women driving her son's Ford Ranger, three days after my Z purchase. I bought my Z on a Friday,,,let it sit for the weekend,,,,was heading back over to dealership that Monday morning (they had a typo on the vin number/contract). Almost same senerio,,,,I was first at the redlight,,,woman (ranger) behind me. The lane to my left was a turn lane. The turn lane arrow turned green and that lane started to move. Woman (ranger) was on cellphone and thought all lanes were moving. Needless to say,,,BAM!! It took two weeks, but her insurance covered the replacement of Bumper. The only thing that quirks me,,,is the depreciation of the new vehicle plus replaced rear bumper. Fort. the shop that did the work,,did a great job blending my silver alloy. But, I still know its there..

What was worse,,,after she hit me,,,I got out and she was still talking on the phone and I had to wait about 30 sec. for her to hang up and roll down her window. I imagine with the look on my face,,,she thought I was going to pull a "superfly snucka" on her. IE ( old wrestler)

You can imagine what I wanted to do with her cellphone,,IE, stick it up.....Oh well.
