To give you an idea about how long I've been anticipating the launch of this car, check out this site that I made in January of 2000. I was a bored college senior at the time. Now I'm pretty busy working so unfortunately I haven't had a chance to update the site. It is SO OUT OF DATE it is funny!

www.thenewzcar.com

Anyway, when my car arrives, I'm going to put up a bunch of pictures , detailing information, and info on the track stuff I plan to do, stuff like that- the site won't compete with this one- instead it will focus on my personal experiences with the car- pretty much like what i did with my 1st Z site: http://pages.prodigy.com/300zx - that one is even more amusing, and even further out of date, in terms of both content and design (half the links don't work since my Rutgers account has lapsed!!!)- but I'm proud to say that my 50th AE site was one of the first Z car sites on the web (launched in 1997)-

Default Thanks Ethan

Went to the photo section, and saw shots I'd never seen before.

Thank you for sharing.

Glad you spent your college years learning how to be productive

Mine were spent listening to the Dead , but I had a Cool Slide Rule slapped to my side

Can you spell Fortran?

Pretty tight, like seeing the original concept photos. I'm so glad the thing didn't end up like that.

Also dig the articles, hadn't seen a lot of those before...

I remember seeing that site quite a while ago. Looks like you had the Daytona Blue color pegged before Nissan decided on it.

I can't imagine waiting as long as some of you have. Four years azjimbo?! That's incredible. Just 3 months has been overwhelming for me.

Ethan: If it isn't there already, your website should be on a links page from this forum. That site shows some great dedication to the Z. Should be admired by all.

Thanks for posting it.

Yes Scafremon 4 years.Every time I thought of getting a new car I knew I would regret it when the new Z came out.It happenned to me when the last Z was introduced.I had a Acura Legend Coupe for a little over 1 year(great car) but I just had to have the 1990 300ZX.I am addicted.
