Yes. Thats a good deal. Tax is about +- $2,000. With $28,500 out the door, you are actually paying +- $26,500 for the car and all the options. If my calculation is correct, you are getting a very nice deal.

So that it's easier to compare and when people are talking about prices, it'd be best if they itemized the price of the car + options, dest charge, license fees, and tax.
Fees vary depending on location and sales tax most definitely does. It's right now 9.1% here in WA state on cars (at least in Pierce County, not sure about King). Oregon has NO sales tax.

P.S.
Keep in mind that I am located in SoCal, where the Zs are somewhat more expensive than other states.

Mr. Potato Head is right. That is not a very good deal. In fact, I dont think thats even close for a good deal. I'm ordering the 04' enthusiast 6 speed also. The price the dealer gave me is $1,200 off sticker...and thats with me not even started to bargain. Sticker was +- $28,890. So at the very least, I am getting it for +- $27,690. Still waiting for the dealer to get the exact price for the 04's.
P.S.

I'm assuming $28K is BEFORE tax and license, correct? How about destination charge?

I have floormats, splashguards, cargo convenience, aluminum kick plates, and trunk mat, also they threw in a 100,000 mile warranty. Destination charge was 540, atleast thats what it says on sticker. They came off sticker 2500 and then after tax it was around 29,000 sorry I put 28000 and did not realize it till I checked the post this morning.

I assume 27690 is without any mats, splash guards, kick plates. Otherwise it is just absoulute unbelieveable.

Not again...
Here we go again.
Sorry guys/gals, I really find these types of threads humorous. That is a good deal? Like, who cares?
It’s like; if you paid more than me you got screwed. And no one wants to admit someone else paid less for the same car they got. You paid $500 below invoice, I paid $500 over invoice, one pays $1200 under MSRP, someone else says; oh yeah, well I paid $1201 under MSRP. You got screwed, I got screwed, so let’s all get screwed! You guys are funny.
I‘ve never had a vehicle so sweet. I was ready to pay full MSRP when I bought mine. Frankly, I was surprised they accepted my offer. And I was just happy I did not have to pay full MSRP.
Okay, my .02…
If you are happy when you drive off the lot, then YOU GOT A GOOD DEAL! My bottom line, this car is a true joy and I consider myself blessed to be able to own one.
Regardless of what any of us paid, we ALL got a sweet deal. The Z is a BARGAIN at any price.
Peace to all. No offense to anyone.
