This 350z is a steal!
buy it and beat the crap out of the motor untill about the end of the powertrain warranty then get a V2 replacement motor for oil consumptiont. Its like getting almost twice the life from you car. I got a new motor at 58,000 miles for oil consumption. Its like a new car all over again! lol.
Plus the 06+ interior is **** over the earlier years. I wish I could swap with mine.

If your going to track the car or drive it hard a lot I say go for it... Your probably going to want a aftermarket LSD anyway, cruise is useless, TSC would be off all the time anyway, and you dont need autodimming when on a track and especially dont need remote garage door controls.
If its a DD though then you might want some of these things...

Im with you, 06 to me is a good year because you basically get 2 engines! I knew mine was consuming oil before i took it in for test and i knew my tranny whine was going to warrant a new tranny too.. So i drove her good and hard, then i took it in and got both replaced! Brand new car all over again! Im not complaining.
Get the '06. You get a new engine.
Like the other guy, I got mine right before 59k miles. It's nice to start over on a used car.
No oil consumption here with the new engine. I'm not sure if it's how you break it in or what, but whatever.
