well i bought mine used cuz it was an impulse buy and I needed a car that day...so a super black touring Z with 4K on it for $31,900 BEFORE tax and tags BS....came with the mats, trunk mat, and I dont know what else you're suppose to look for. Had a kenwood Sirius FM modulator in it too...salesperson was like "that's a 1500.00 system in there"...moron...the unit costs like 100.00 if that...then a couple hundred for install by a pro. I hate car salesmen.

I think I may have paid a little too much but I try not to think about it cuz it does no good now.

Hey Vice, did I see you on the Vette forum looking for a Vette before you got the Z? I think I'll do the Vette thing next time around. Right now I love my Z.

BFG..YEP...that was me. At that time the Z wasn't even on the list of cars I was looking at since I had a budget of 21-24G...so it was used GS300's, 328ci's or C5's....i was having a hard time selling my GTP...no one was really calling so I ended up selling it for less then i wanted cuz I didnt want to hit the 55K mark on the miles...so that day I HAD to buy something else...test drove a couple used GS300's...rode like CRAP!!!!....we looked around and just drove thru a nissan dealer and i said to my wife.."let's get the black Z...lol"...and we left...well we couldn't find anything else so I said "let's just see how much the Z is"...after somewhat negotiating witht he salesman...we drove away with the Z...it was cool.

Ofcourse now that the GTP is gone...i've had so many damn calls on it...could have got what I wanted money wise...oh well..no sweat off my sack.

I usually keep a car for 2-3 years but they were usually used cars and this is my first NEW car. My wife always gets the new car leases so I figured it was my turn...financec a few thousand for the car...so I don't know if I'll get rid of it in the next 2-3 years or not.

Congrats on your new car! I picked up a 03 Daytona Blue Enthusiast with Aero/Mats/Cargo/Trunk Mat/Side Air for $30,880 out the door this past weekend and I can't wait for the break-in period to be over. Have fun and drive safe!
