If you plan on doing alot of work to the engine you should also consider upgrading your brakes. Going fast is great until you realize your car cant corner or stop well anymore. Everything kinda depends on your budget and what your goals are for your specific car. Dont forget to check the classifieds section on here for parts. You can get alot of quality stuff on here brand new or slightly used for much cheaper than you would on a reg website or local dealer/store

I say get familiar with the car and its capabilities and then figure what you want to do with it autox, track, drag, street, ect. I personally would probably go with some Rs2s and suspension. Because no matter what you do with the car your going to need a good set of tires, and the same goes for suspension as well, though suspension in drag racing is not usually an important factor.
