Question Installing and removing R spec intake before dealer tune up/service

Hey fellas, new z owner here.

I'm gonna go ahead put the 08 nismo r spec intake on my z so my question is, if i install the intake and remove it before service, would that cause any problems???

Also, they wouldn't really be able to void your warranty unless they could prove that the R Spec had caused whatever was wrong with the car. (Assuming that something went wrong with the engine and you had to have warranty work done). However, you should still probably take it off because they will document it in an effort to deny possible future claims.

I have an injen intake and they did document it when I went for an oil change. I asked them if it would be a problem with warranty and they said only if the engine stalls because of hydrolock, other than that its fine.

i would take it off. its just another excuse to f*ck you out of warranty work that is already a ***** to get done. i have the Nismo, and i plan on putting in my stock airbox before taking it in to get the engine looked at. i broke one of the damn support bracket things on the box so now i have to f*cking glue it back on.
