Question Something buzzing when over 120mph...

... I've experienced a strange buzzing sound that starts up over 120mph. I took it to 137mph and the buzzing seemed to get louder as the speed increased. I thought it was a warning of some sorts so I let off gas.

Anyone with similar issue? Anyone here that does over 120 for long periods of time with no buzzing? Suggestions?

****, I even considered the door handles or the escape hatch near the small rear window as the cause. Maybe it's the plastic trim flapping in the breeze?

i believe it is the windshield wiper...in one of my other cars (not the Z) there is a buzzing sound when i go about 90 or so...then i hit the windshield wiper and when it moved, the buzzing stopped. so next time u go over 120 just hit the windshield wiper..see if it stops

Default well I'll be! It was the wipers...

... zipped up to 120 and flipped on the wipers and the sound stopped for a moment. This sucks, I need to tune the wipers? WTF?

A guy goes to the doctor and says "Doctor, my arm hurts when I move it like this."
The doctor says "So don't move your arm like that."

BTW, I haven't been to Florida in a few years, when did they up the speed limit to 120mph?

Wink like you don't drive past the limit?

If'n Gawd didn't want us to be drivin over 100, he wouldn't have made the Z to begin with your honor...

hrmph...so it WAS the wipers...my old car didnt use to do that at 90. But i guess as it gets older it will start buzzing at lower speeds. so that means in time, the Z will start buzzing at 60mph!!!

Only if you continually drive over 120mph! Per cap, Florida has more cops than any other state. zrob is about to have his car impounded. Hopefully before he kills himself, or worse, somebody else. Sure I've pushed all of my cars over 120, but not DAILY!

I was going over 120! Do you think I really cared about a "buzzing noise"? I was more concerned about the stains I may leave on my seat should something jump in front of me. Thank goodness they're leather! Wait..........actually........no, yes, no. Oh who cares!

is 120 really fast to y'all? I didn't think it that big of a deal until I heard the seat stain and the 'get my car impounded' comments. Thank you for your concern, I'm very careful but I do keep in mind that doing anything is much more dangerous than sitting on the couch.
