Cars are designed to be driven in the rain and it doesn't hurt a damn thing other than it getting a little dirty. Unless you plan on parking the thing in a controlled environment and never driving it then what does it matter. Every time you take it out you run the risk of getting a rock chip, door ding, etc. Driving it in the rain should the least of your worries.
