Default Looking for a Z :) Questions & looking for advice

Hey guys, im a long time lurker first time poster, infact just made this account, now the used car dealership i worked at during thsi summer is having a z for sale which i drove etc that has 19&18 in front AXIS 5 spoke rims dont remmember the name but they look like volk/works replicas also come with an orange lip/line. Now the question is, i look at the car form the back and it seems that it is wider then the 06 z, sory forgot the mention, the z im looking at is a 07 with 17miles. I did my research and foundout that the widenesss of all current generation z's is the same, just like i thought. The car looks mint inside and out, imported from US (i live in canada) only thign that is really bothering me is the (i think) widened fenders, the paint everywhere is mint exept 1 left fender, i found 1 paint dot/dust particle on it, car fax says this car is clean but could it be just repinted and wetsanded to get rid of the dust particles? the dealer is asking 28$ for it i know its alot for you US folks but comparing to canadian prices its seems like a good deal.

Now if i dont end up going for this car, i have two choices, go to a local dealer dealership with my dealer friend and pick a car out for my self at dealer price or go to us with another dealer friend and get and import a car (i know the procedure, done it prenty of times for the dealer i worked for during the summer)

... Going to an auction will get me a car for aprox 19$ good year good milage..

What do you guys think?

Difficult to tell from the photo if the rear fenders are flared. If you want park it next to another 350Z. It should be easy to see any difference.

If you are actually going to spend $28K, buy an e46 M3 instead

Like i said, it canada, everything is 100% more expensive then the states, F*k canada. and plus i really love the Z <3 and i dont really like the m3, its nice and all but... just meh. i driven plenty of m3's m5's and so on even the m coupe, they all feel like buckets, stiff and just dont feel right, z on other hand feels more solid =)

i like my cars like i like my woman, small and asian

no man it looks good don't sweat it. you would be able to tell more definite if it had been modded. i guess to help you sleep at night you can take a look under the fender too see if you see and body work or cracks from a accident. but i would go for it if you had the money.
good luck, and if you get it drive it safe. sounds like a first car.

i doubt its dust particles in the paint, try paint overspray which could easily come from being to close to something else being painted or the car itself being painted which i doubt since the carfax is clean. And paint overspray is easily removed with a clay bar, i have done it once before on another vehicle i owned. good luck

Makes it so that it looks more of a widebody along the fenders. I know lots of drifting cars use it. Cars such as 86's, 240's, and such have wider fenders because of fender flares.
