Do the headrests tilt forward?

I don't know the answer, however if the Z has similar seats to the g35 with the "active headrest" then they will not tilt back and forth, just height adjustable. In fact, I think the only Nissan/Infiniti product that is out right now that has tilt and height adjustable head rests are in the 02 Q45. Which consequently does have the same "active headrest" anti-whiplash protection as well, so it may just be an issue of cost cutting on all other models. I wonder if the Q45 headrest would fit on a Z's seat? It would probably look weird, though and the only folks who could do a swap would be folks who ordered black or grey leather.

 

the headrest doesn't tilt to the best of my knowledge. I remember it only going up and down.
