Another atrocity...
So i was coming back home from a nice dinner with some friends and stopped off to get a couple of energy drinks for another couple of friends pullin an all nighter. Well as i was stepping up to the register a couple of guys came runnin in the store and were like " dude your car just got hit". Thinking they were talking to someone else i ignored it and thought to myself man that sucks. Well sure enough i hear someone utter the phrase "oh man that was a nice 350z she just hit" At this point i re think to myself "F*%# my life". So i walk outside and sure enough a crazy, drunken woman had hit my car and then fled the scene. Lucky for me these guys were cool enough to get the license plate number of the car and saved me pretty much. So the cops were called and i gave them the full report and those guys gave a witness statement. I heard from another cop that pulled up that they might have already caught the woman so im keeping my fingers crossed.
Below are some pics, im just curious if anyone might know how much the dmg is going to cost. Pics arent the greatest it's pretty dark.

wow man that's horrible. Honestly if the cops catch her get everything
redone brand new. You'll need a new rear bumper, rim, and quarter panel and
because she was drunk try to find other stuff. I hate people that drink and
drive, poor Z, a victim of a dumbass mistake. Goodluck with the search!

If you know someone who works in a body shop, try to get a good deal from them on painting and install. Then have the shop quote the lady the full and highest price possible for the install and paint. This is what I did for the inconvienence I had for atleast two months with my car. I wouldn't tell you do this to just anyone who was being honost hitting your car, but lets face it she did run and was drunk. This lady needs a reality check.

Yea i wouldn't think of being such an ******* about this sort of thing normally but she fled the scene and was clearly under the influence of something. The guys told me they waved her to stop backing up and then told me she looked like a deer in headlights and continued backing out and then sped off as fast as possible. As far as i'm concerned she deserves whats coming to her.

There is a body shop in Lakewood just off Bridgeport and 74th. It is a small shop run by two guys. They have lots of experience working at a high end body shop and then went out on their own and bought an existing shop from a guy that retired. They have done some minor work for me in the past and I've seen some of their other work. Their paint matching was great. Good guys and trust them, not always easy to find at body shops.
The shop is called Chambers Creek Collision. You can tell them that David Hays, Kevin's dad, and owner of the black FD referred you.
