I never buy a vib unless it comes with new batteries.

bedding in brakes takes more than 2 miles to do correctly... and a LOT more than that depending on the manufacturer of the pads(wouldn't be something done by the mechanic)....

If you heat the brakes up to the necessary temperature... you need to drive around for a bit to cool the brakes off....

I would have told them I would bed the brakes myself... but then again.. I do my own brake jobs...
