Driving Z in light snow? Anyone do it?
I was wondering if anyone drives there Z in the snowy weather during winter? I was thinking of getting some shitty black wheels with some blizzak snow tires , but I'm still not sure if that would cut it. I'm not talking about blizzard conditions either, just light snow and slush.
BTW: I know its dumb, but if I can't find a winter beater I'm just curious if this would be an option.

just take it slow and avoid steep hills, you dont want to be caught in a hillish area you cant get out of. a lot of people drive too safely when they need to get some speed to make it up a hill, I've seen some pretty stupid **** in WA.
I haven't driven my Z in snow yet, but I've driven my 68 camaro in snow. just gotta take it slow and pick your route wisely and you will be safe.

in Florida?
As long as your careful, snow driving is def. doable....but Florida? snow? never seen those 2 things together...I'd be more concerned with "Can I make my Z into a boat?" if I lived in Fl.
Up there I think you have much harsher winters than Florida....not to mention Salt on the roads...granted its in the air in Florida, so no reason to lock it up in bad weather, it'll rust either way. Besides, don't think you can drive a car in Florida and never see rain in it.

I forgot to update my location when I moved, thats why it says FL. To update the thread, I found a winter beater for $2K so I'm all set . I was just wondering if the Z was capible in case of dire emergency.

once and never again, unless I have to...it was pretty easy because I had blizzaks. Those things can almost stop on a dime on pure ice! but I don't enjoy putting my baby through it is all...
