I just bought a new Sunset Lemans 4 weeks ago. In order to protect the finish and add to the shine I would like to start waxing as soon as possible. However, I have heard that the paint needs to cure for some period of time before you start waxing. Is it to early to start waxing? What effect does waxing to early have on the finish?

I’ve heard that, but don’t buy it. Your car was probably at least 2 months old by the time you bought it anyway. (Check your built date.)

I washed, clay bared, and waxed my Z the day after I bought it.
