The best way to "keep you from taking a bath" is not smoking when it's raining (or at all is even better).

I hope this helps.

Or you can be the cool, unwet smoking guy during a downpour by getting these:

Who said I don't smoke? Well, I quit, but that's a moot point.

I already gave you a solution above your post. Logic would dictate, upon inspection of the window angle and the a-pillar, that there's no way to not get wet if you're smoking when it rains. One solution was given above (again). Another would be to install a moonroof that can open at an angle just in the rear of it so it vents. Otherwise, you're SOL.

If you enjoy killing yourself, why do it so slowly? Be a man and kill yourself faster. Try asbestos or something. <-- kidding, so don't get your panties in a bunch.

Your best bet if you're going to smoke is to not smoke in the car. I quit smoking two years ago but haven't smoked in any of my cars for around 5 years. I would pull over and step out to smoke. Sounds dumb to you but until you quit smoking you'll never know how bad the smoke smells which is going to make resell value even less!

i don smoke in my Z (not yet) cuz its brand new n i love the new car smell. well, same thing happens to all the other cars. so u have to drive a lil before u smoke so all the rain will come down from the roof. jus drive like 3 traffic lights down n ur roof will b water free. going into corners hard will also get some off haha.
one time i was smoking and i opened the windows n i made a right turn and....yea i took a "shower". u know what im talkin bout right? haha
if u want some other solution than my "technique" then u should get one of those u put it on top of the window which makes the car look ugly as hell. haha

ok 3 replies and 3 non smokers.thanks anyways, trying to see what people are doing that actually have this problem.im not talking a sprinkle of water,it builds up and funnels right on my crotch so im thinking maybee like 1/4 inch clear adhesisive moulding to channel the water down to the rear of the window.i looked for ventshades and i would cut them in half length wise and painting them same as car so it wouldnt stick out but no one makes them for z

i used to smoke in my Z practically every day for about 3 years.... first of all... if it's a moderate to heavy downpour.... don't smoke... wait until you get to where you're going.... you should concentrate on driving and the other fools on the road who are attempting to drive...

if it's not raining very hard.... just crack the window... only ash when moving.... touch the ash to the tip of the window toward the front... (as not to touch the rubber strip on the top).... and it will suck it out...

Jan 30 2008 was the last time I had a cigarette. I'm done for good. I won't try to convince you to do the same, but I certainly don't miss or regret quitting.

I smoke but not in the car.

The 350Z is not designed for rain and windows cracked open. The wiper on the drivers side will push water inside the drivers window.

Best wishes for a solution.

That's what I used to do, also, in all the cars I've smoked in.

Had to admit i still smoke because it is a nasty habit. I do occasionally smoke in my vehicles but only if i can crack the window a few inches, which means if it's raining i just don't smoke.

i do that too...iv tried other methods but nothing else works better than this. Just tap the cigarette a little and the wind will suck the ash out. You need to be moving though, at a stand still or moving too slow and the ash will drop down to the carpet
