Default Lost control in my Z today.

Coming home from work. First big turn onto a big road I basically drifted and hit the curb. Flew over the island and onto the other side of the street. Luckily I didn't hit anybody. Good news is I get new wheels and tires since insurance covers it. I was not trying to drift but I guess I was going too fast. Last time I try showing off....

Yeah its at the dealership I get it serviced at right now. The back wheel was actually bent in and I was dripping coolant. The right front tire was flat and the front under panel was dragging. Hopefully nothing too bad but they said it wasn't.

Dripping coolant? That doesn't sound too good.

They said since no one was really involved besides me. It isn't reported as an accident. My insurance doesn't raise. I guess its a common problem.

Yeah that's what everyone keeps telling me. Good thing I wasn't hurt or didn't hit anyone else. It could have been worse and I am lucky for that. I swear the first thing I did after it happened was check on my car though. haha

Go easy on him at least he admitted that it was his fault etc.. No one was hurt so it was a good lesson learned.

Unlike most of the other "I lost control" threads.

It was the Nitto's
It was raining.
I was only doing 25
It just went out of control for no reason...

That doesn't sound right to me. If so, I'd go over a curb or 2 myself to get a new front bumper.
