Red face Dealership Surprises The Uck otta me!

After two years of complaining to Nissan about this vibration and noise when I turn left only the problem was diagnosed by one of the guys at the firestone store. One of the guys there told me definitively that it was my right wheel bearing. The guys at the Nissan dealership always stated that it was just my tires. So I took it to the dealership today, demanded that they prove to me that it was the tire. And they admitted that it was the bearing. They surprise me when they stated it would be at no charge. I thought I was going to have to get into some “butt”. I should get the car back tomorrow.

except the 350z is rear wheel drive.

It doesnt have cv's like a fwd. (they click when turning b/c the bearing is dry among other things.)

if a z was clicking from the axles it would be constant and change with speed.

From what I read on here Royal Purple and Amsoil are very popular. I used Royal purple in my '84 300ZX and was really impressed.

You should've just waited out your ban time 06'Z, instead of creating a 3rd screen name...

Good news.

I found that dealers are respective to fix stuff depending on your attitude. If you work with the dealer to find a solution, they can be helpful. If you are a know-it-all jerk you get the cold shoulder.

Z does have CV joints, but since the rear wheels don't turn(L/R), the rubber boots don't crack near as quickly, and the joints don't go bad....since grease stays in, dirt stays out.

they do, but the range isnt the same and as posted above, they dont crack near as easily.

(the clicking in a FWD is b/c the bearing has run dry and when you turn you are forcing the bearings into their most "stressed" state.)
