350Z Insurance
Hello All,
I rarely post here but I have a question I can't seem to find an answer to. Based on current rates (fall 08) what is the best deal, insurance wise, to cover your 350Z?
I ask this since my insurance company, Safeco, considers the Z as a high performance car and my rates have been rising. I live on the eastern shore of Maryland, am 55 yrs old and never had a point on my driving record. Considering all of that, one would assume that an insurance company would be reasonable but such is not the case.
I am searching for opinions on insurance companies, their rates and specifically whether one exists that is more friendly to the high performance car market (specifically insuring the Z).
Thanks,
Ed

I saved a bunch of money switching FROM geico...
i got a blow out on the highway (passenger rear - didn't lose control at all). my key for my tuner lugs broke so i needed a tow. i called geico and after they told me it would be $250 i was mad but agreed. then they asked if it was just me or any passengers. i had a friend with me. they said the truck would only hold 1 so i would have to get a taxi for the passenger. i hung on that crazy dick and called my own tow company from 411. they charged 150 and had no problem carrying two people.
I was pissed so the next day I cancelled geico and got unitrend and saved 80 a month. put that in a commercial.
o and i got aaa for $8 a month
